Job Summary:

The Sensory & Consumer Insights Manager (SCIM) works closely with clients to understand specific business challenges and define appropriate solutions. The SCIM selects the appropriate methodologies and techniques needed to provide insights to the underlying business issues.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience within the custom Market Research industry
• Academic and practical experience with a wide array of new product, brand, advertising and customer satisfaction research methodologies
• Exceptional written, oral, and presentation skills
• Strong analytic skills with experience in statistical modeling and analysis—including multivariate and conjoint analysis
• Advanced degree in food science
• Expertise working with the Microsoft Office Suite with particular focus on Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Expertise with SAS, SPSS, S-Plus, and time-series analysis tools is a plus
• Knowledge of Tragon QDA® and/or Profile Method is a plus.
 

Responsibilities Include:

• Work with clients to define complex business objectives
• Select the most appropriate research methodologies and techniques
• Design quantitative / qualitative research plans for products in all stages of the project life cycle.
• Oversee the design and development of research questionnaires and designs
• Manage and mentor team members
• Develop, review and present the analyses and reports ensuring accuracy, logical consistency and value-add
